The Humble beginning of Kainrads Primary School – 9th June 2000
At the onset, my wife, sister Grace Viola and our children John Jr. and Mounika started a Sunday school at Satellite City. For several months they would take some sweets, soft drinks to attract the children and slowly lead them to a disciplined way of behavior and most importantly, to Christ. When little money was available for my family needs, my wife and children unselfishly desired to have half of the monies be allotted for one classroom to be rented. By doing so, the children could be schooled in an academic style. After discussion and prayer a school with 75 poor children began. This is the humble beginning of the Kainrads’ Primary School. As days passed, the demand and request were many by parents who wanted their children enrolled the school to be educated in learning, discipline and standard spirituality. In spite of inconveniences in the use of rented houses,we had moved the school at least three times throughout the first academic year in order to accommodate the increased student population.

The focus of KES is on molding Christian personalities in the students. Our students are taught the basic principles to build a strong physical and spiritual foundation that will sustain them through life’s tough challenges. Self-discipline and self-control is key in making dreams a reality. KES helps those students who struggle academically in order to overcome any academic obstacles they might encounter. The Kainrads Educational Society study program have been specially designed to focus on the individual needs of the school age students. The schools provide a safe, secure, supportive atmosphere, where students are encouraged to confidently participate in classroom activity, preparing them thoroughly for the exciting educational challenge ahead. The curriculum meets all aspects of the Indian School Education to perfection. School timings are structured with the attention span and learning capacity of the various age groups in mind. Academic and extra curricular activities are excellently balanced and paced to maintain the performance of students at a comfortable level.The Kainrads Educational Society believes that academics are only part of the school going experience apart from studies, the school offers a variety of recreational activities which include quizzes, debates, seminars on the current topics, to develop communicative skills, leadership qualities, confidence and competitive spirit. Besides tuning the children’s mind in the classroom they are encouraged to tone up their bodies through exercise, sports and games.

Our teaching staff has been carefully selected for their qualifications, spiritual background, as well as their sensitivity to the special needs of the students. All our teachers take a personal interest in each student’s progress with regular reports available to parents. A student’s performance is evaluated after an overall consideration of parent’s views, suggestions, teacher’s comments and analyzing progress or the lack of it in a systematic manner. The students whose performance is below average will receive special attention to catch up with the rest of the class, in the shortest time possible. The faculty is always ready to respond by giving students their keen attention in clarifications of doubts and often boosting student morale with their sincere advice and encouragement. To put in it simply, the students, teachers and management of KES form a close-knit family who constantly strive for excellence in every sphere.
